Message Is this shock to the driveshaft and differential when releasing the transbrake similar to what a shift kit causes? I have one installed and you can really feel it when the tranny shifts gears. Like a solid "clunk" sometimes.


:everything in the transmission is preloaded, there isn't any shock-loading occurring to the trans.
:Now, releasing the TB will transmit a bit of a shock to the driveshaft and rear differential, but nothing near as bad as a 6000RPM clutch drop with a manual trans.
